// About
I solve hard problems. That's what I do.
I'm Brandon Tillman — an independent consultant with 15+ years of engineering experience across AI, automation, full-stack development, and DevOps.
I started building software as a teenager and never stopped. I've worked across startups and enterprise, shipping everything from greenfield SaaS products to internal tools that quietly save companies thousands of hours a year.
Today I work directly with founders, operators, and engineering leads on the hard problems — the ones that need deep expertise, not a quick fix. Without the overhead of an agency or the risk of a full-time hire, you get someone who understands enterprise infrastructure, complex deployments, and scaling systems that matter. My goal is always the same: solve the actual problem and build something that stays reliable.

// The Work
In enterprise, I've built E2E testing platforms, orchestrated Linux-to-Windows deployments over WinRM, debugged complex networking and load balancing issues, scaled Kubernetes clusters both on-prem and in cloud, implemented sophisticated feature releases, and solved infrastructure problems that most consultants won't touch.
I'm also building in the open: serv is a modern replacement for Windows service management that runs across Windows, Linux, and macOS. I've designed Cloudflare DNS automation with Claude AI agents and Terraform. These aren't toy projects — they're production-grade tools solving real infrastructure headaches.
This is who you're hiring: someone who understands systems at depth, knows how to build things that last, and can handle the problems your team hasn't solved yet.
